Perinatal Counselling

Support in the journey through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the early years of parenthood.

I often say that the perinatal period can bring the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Whether you are pregnant, recovering from a difficult birth, navigating loss or fertility challenges, or adjusting to life with a new baby, you deserve care that meets you where you are, without judgment or pressure to feel any particular way.

As a Canadian Certified Perinatal Mental Health (CC-PMH) therapist, I have specialized training in the emotional and psychological changes that can arise from preconception through the postpartum period and beyond. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in compassion. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities, tailoring our work to your needs, your pace, and your experience.

My focus is on helping you feel truly understood and comforted, while also equipping you with new tools and approaches to support you through this phase. Together, we’ll make space for whatever you are feeling and build practical strategies that help you feel more steady, supported, and connected to yourself and your family.

Non-birthing parents are warmly welcome: your experiences and mental health matter too. I am inclusive and affirming, and I work with all kinds of families, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, single parents, blended families, and families formed through adoption, surrogacy, or assisted reproduction.
